Rules

Synkrift is a competitive game: these rules keep its leaderboards meaningful and its community pleasant. Playing online means agreeing to them.

Play fair

Every play must be your own, with an unmodified game. No bots, macros, edited replays, modified game files, or anything that changes timing, judging or scores. Taking advantage of a bug counts too: report it instead.

Your account

One account per person, for your own use: don’t share it, sell it, or play on someone else’s. You must be 14 or older.

Respect

Usernames must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. Treat other players with respect.

Moderation

Breaking these rules can lead to scores being removed, or the account being restricted (it can still sign in, but nothing counts and it’s hidden from leaderboards) or banned. Every decision is recorded with its reason. To ask for a review, write to support@synkrift.com.

Beta

Synkrift is in beta: features will change, bugs will happen, and scores or Clout may be reset (for example when the formula is retuned, or at the full release). Thanks for helping test it.

Songs

Synkrift includes no songs. Only use charts and audio you have the right to use. To verify scores, the game sends the chart files you play online to the server, never the audio.
